The Cowichan region is located on Vancouver Island on Canada’s West Coast in the province of British Columbia.  It is nestled comfortably between two mid-size cities – Victoria with a population of 325,000, 45 km south and Nanaimo, with a population of 80,000, 45 km north, providing all the allure of small community life, while within an hour of every possible service and amenity.

The region is known world-wide as “The Warm Land”, not only because of our moderate and sunny climate, but because of the warm and welcoming nature of the people who live here. 

Duncan is the commercial hub of the Cowichan Region, and is expanding rapidly to meet the demands of a growing regional population.
