Customer Service: Recognition for demonstrating excellence in customer service, going above and beyond the call of duty. Nominees are ready and willing to help, and always with a smile. Sponsored by London Drugs Duncan.
Volunteer of the Year: Individuals and community service groups. Recognition for giving extraordinary service or support to individuals, families, non-profits or charitable groups, and community service or humanitarian causes. Sponsored by Peninsula Co-op.
Non-Profit Organization: Registered Non-Profit Societies and Charitable Organizations. Recognition for outstanding contributions to the community, demonstrating innovation, engagement and impact through their projects, programs and services. Sponsored by Cowichan Green Community.
Green Business: Recognition for success in operating a business that implements environmentally sustainable practices; demonstrating leadership in lessening their impact on the environment by reducing, solving or avoiding environmental issues. Founded and sponsored by Cowichan Valley Regional District.
Young Entrepreneur: Business owners under the age of 40 who started a business within the last 3 years. Nominees demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and have excellent prospects for continued growth. Sponsored by Coastal Community Credit Union.
Art in Business: Recognizes an individual who has developed a successful, growing business creating and selling their art, and who demonstrates sound management, leadership and community commitment. Sponsored by Cowichan Woodwork Ltd.
Business Achievement: Recognition for operating a successful business or social enterprise and demonstrating initiative, community involvement, sound business management, creativity and consistent growth. Three Business Achievement Awards are presented under the following subcategories:
