SUMMARY:2021 Chamber's Summer BBQ
DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT!\n\nContact office to be waitlisted\n\n\n\nWe are proceeding with our annual Summer BBQ on September 9th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. As you know\, the provincial government has announced they will require proof of vaccination for people attending certain social and recreational events\, starting on September 13th. Since our BBQ is before the initiation date\, we will not require proof of vaccination for this event. However\, we highly recommend that everyone attending the event - that is eligible - be vaccinated. \n\n \n\nThe province has also reinstated the mask mandate. Although majority of our Summer BBQ will be outdoors\, a mask will be required to access the restrooms and bar. To ensure everyone's safety\, we are excited to offer each BBQ guest a three-layer Cowichan branded mask! We will also have extra masks that will be for sale in the visitor centre that evening. \n\n\nJoin us at the Cowichan Regional Visitor Centre for a picnic-style buffet with a variety of hot and cold food items\, catered by the Farm Table Inn. This mingling event will have a cash bar with local refreshments and the amazing Kona Ice & Gondola Gelato serving delicious dessert options. Kona Ice will be offering all sizes of their shaved ice for $3\, and Gondola Gelato will have three sizes Large $4\, Medium $2\, and a Mini Scoop $1. Credit\, Debit\, and cash will be available. \n\n\n\nWe will have water\, pop\, beer\, and wine available at the refreshment bar. The beer and wine will be coming from some of our fantastic local producers in the region. We will have red and white wine available for $6 a glass and beer for $5 a can. Cash\, credit and debit will be available. \n\n\n\nNetworking will start at 5:30 PM and dinner will be served at 6:00 PM. Seating will be limited\, so don't forget your chair or picnic blanket! This event will take place rain or shine. In the case it rains\, we will have outdoor tents and indoor seating available. \n\n\n\nMore information to come.
