DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to host Cherly Hebb\, Director of Fund Development at the University of Victoria and National Communications Committee Member of one of our newest non-profit members\, the Association of Fundraising Professionals\, Vancouver Island Chapter.\n\n\n\nDo you find yourself struggling with how to succeed in the complex world of fundraising and relationship development?  Whether you're a professional fundraiser or a volunteer\, "Building Your Fundraising Toolkit" will provide an overview of the key components that should go into your fundraising plan before you make your first ask from the case for support\, through to stewardship procedures and evaluating your program. \n\n\n\nThis Lunch N Learn will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel\, parking and entrance of Ypres Street.  Bring your own lunch\, coffee and tea available at the venue.  Free for Chamber Members\, $5 cash-at-door for Non-Members.\n\n\n\nCheryl Hebb\, CFRE\, Director of Fund Development at the University of Victoria\, has raised millions of dollars for both healthcare and academia over the course of 30+ years.  Cheryl has taught fundraising at California State University\, Northridge.  She also presented at Vancouver Island AFT's Certified Fundraising Professionals Executive (CFRE) Review and the Fundamentals of Fundraising courses\, and nationally at the Council for Support of Advancement and Educations (CASE) and at the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) conferences.  Cheryl holds a Non-Profit Management MBA and BS in Communications.  She is a Board Member of Craigdarroch Castle\, and a member of the AFP's National Communications Committee and the AFP Vancouver Island Programming Committee.
