Emma will teach us how brain injuries are sustained and how they can affect people. She'll discuss how community members and business people can better serve those with a brain injury. \n\n\n\nMany people are unaware of the extent of change that can happen after an injury in all facets of an individual's life. Brain injury is considered an "invisible injury\," and many times\, it can go unnoticed or misdiagnosed. Employers and staff may be unaware that people have a brain injury. Upon learning that someone has a brain injury\, people may not know how to serve them best\, as they may present totally "normal." \n\n\n\nBring your lunch and join us.
