SUMMARY:Inner Treasure Hunt: Discovering your Wild Self Through Nature Connection
DESCRIPTION:Join Becky Traptow and Sarah Frizelle as they share about their experiential nature-based wanders. They draw on their training with the Map of the Psyche (Soul) work of Bill Plotkin (founder of the Animas Valley Institute)\, to talk about the therapeutic wanders they facilitate in the forest. A 'cafe-style' round-table discussion will follow\, where silence\, conversation\, and inquiry are equally welcome! Becky Traptow and Sarah Frizelle have been working with the Animas Valley Institute for over 10 years\, guiding group programs as well as individuals on their journey of self-discovery\, healing\, wholeness and a deeper connection with the world around them. At Earth & Spirit Caf we offer monthly drop-in gatherings (every fourth Thursday of the month). Each month we host a guest speaker exploring knowledge that honours our dance of relationship with Earth and Spirit. A diversity of topics includes: reciprocal land use\, respect for Indigenous ways of knowing\, tending death with consciousness\, and inspirational change-makers. We invite you to bring your questions and queries! Hosted by experienced facilitators\, holding heart-based space Renate Ringer & Alice L. Meyers. Please feel free to invite a friend!
