DESCRIPTION:Chamber on Tour is off to the Cherry Point area to visit Vancouver Island Salt Co. and Enrico Winery. Both members hold prestigious awards for their work!\n\n\n\nVancouver Island Salt Co. is Canada's first artisan sea salt harvestry\, harvesting salt from the cold clear waters off Vancouver Island. Unrefined salt products include the first Canadian fleur de sel\, pure and smoked sea salts\, and seasonal sea salt flavour infusions. On tour we'll learn about the harvesting and flavouring process\, and meet the people of Vancouver Island Salt Co. Salts will be available\, cash only please.\n\n\n\nThen we proceed to Enrico Winery to taste a selection of award winning wines - including their 2014 Tempest Ortega which just received the prestigious Lieutenant Governor's Award for Excellence in British Columbia Wines. We'll stroll through vines of Pinot Noir\, Ortega\, Cabernet Libra and Cabernet Foch\, and learn about the people and processes behind Enrico's! Wines available for purchase.
