Bookbinding Classes

Choose your own bookbinding adventure: register for all three workshops in the series to secure your place and save. Or, if you prefer, sign up for any of the individual workshops as described below. Each session is suitable for all levels, and all materials are included! 3 CLASS BUNDLE: Learn the pamphlet stitch, stab binding and accordion assembly. Come away with three notebooks and an accordion book with pockets 1 DAY SESSION: Coptic stitched journal will be constructed from book boards covered with beautiful decorative paper and a book block with 128 pages of heavier text weight paper. We will sew the book together using waxed linen thread and the historical coptic and kettle stitching, which are both beautiful and very strong. 1 DAY SESSION: The Artist Journal, This colourful 64-page journal is an enjoyable, straight-forward project to make. The covers are a heavy, but foldable, paper, and the inside pages are made from a large piece of light watercolour paper.
