Where Business Blooms: Community Futures & Chamber of Commerce Mixer

This is a special event for members and non-members alike! Community Futures Cowichan and the Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce would love to bring small business owners together to provide an evening of insight and resources relevant to the current business market in the Cowichan Valley. 

Cathy, Kevin, and Jon of Community Futures Cowichan will be on hand to provide a short presentation highlighting the services they offer to local businesses, including small business loans, workshops, and advisory resources. As a community-based, non-profit organization, they are dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs with flexible financing and hands-on guidance to help businesses start, grow, and succeed.

They will also speak to the impacts of the recent mill closure and curtailments and the supports available to businesses navigating these changes. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and connect directly with their team.

Alongside the presentation, enjoy complimentary appetizers courtesy of Community Futures Cowichan, a cash bar, draw prizes currated by CFC from local businesses, as well as plenty of time to mingle with fellow business owners and community members
